Portage Car Wash

My first few experiences with this car wash went really well. They cleaned everything and it looked great. It’s been worse the last few times. Today, they didn’t even bother cleaning off my dashboard, they didn’t wipe down multiple spots that came off easily after I went over it myself, and they just threw the mats in my back. There is dust on every surface still. I’m not sure how I pay over $25 for a car wash and this is what get.

I’ve used Portage car wash many times. I’ve had to take my car back numerous times. I always tip double what the service costs. This time just really upset me because I had to take it back and they still didn’t do the bare minimum. I literally expressed to customer service what was wrong(she agreed)and after bringing it back the second time they never fixed it. I even clarified with them that the service that I paid for does include what was not done. It’s almost as if all they did was wash the windows. I’m just disappointed.

I give 5 start because I do love hard working women . And it was my first time been at the car watch in portage she did great job cleaning the windows of my car and ok job vacuuming. They were small things that I will like to see in my next visit is cleaning the dashboard on the car that she missed and vacuum correctly the back on my van

So I’ve been a good customer and been going to them since they opened. The last few times I’ve been there, it seems to get worse every time. Ever since Mary left it’s going down hill. The last time they left mud on my wheel wells and dirt on the body as well as the door jams. I always get the $28.00 wash. When I pointed it out to the manager he told me if I wanted it cleaned better to go to the hand wash bay. Figure that!!!

I just moved to Portage and had to get my vehicle cleaned bad. I went with the full service hand wash and I could not have been more impressed. The staff were friendly and very fast and efficient. I had no issues. My car looked so amazing, I called my wife to bring the car there. I had the shampoo the seats and floor mats along with a wash and I tell you, it looked like a brand new car. All of that for a fraction of what I use to pay before I moved here. Superb job PCW!!! I will not be taking my vehicles anywhere else!!!

I just witnessed an unhappy customer complaining that her vehicle was not vacuumed properly and these employees were unprofessional at best while dealing with her. She was clearly upset and after several requests to get what she paid for and only getting excuses from the cashier, the cashier finally went to get a manager and you could hear her laughing in the managers office. Very unprofessional! There are a lot of young new faces here and the quality and professionalism has dropped significantly. I brought 2 vehicles here today and the first one was done very poorly. The 2nd one was decent. Both hand washes. I didn’t complain, I guess I am just used to it. Basically 50/50 chance of getting a decent job done.

When I pulled up I told the guy working I had never been to a carwash like this before. I didn't know what to do. He just said "I'll take it from here" I didn't know what that meant. Eventually I figured out that I need to get out of my car and walk inside. When you walk inside the door you enter into a long empty hallway. I felt very out of place because there was no signage or anything saying to walk to the front. I get to the front desk and the man there was on his phone so I still felt very uncomfortable. I gave him my slip and sat down because that's what someone else was doing. When my car was done someone came in and called it out. So that was the only time I knew what I should be doing. The car was washed and vacuumed. I paid $22. And there were still crumbs left in the backseat and the front windshield still had bugs on it. I was a little upset with the work because I could've gone to a regular carwash and vacuumed myself for much cheaper but I wanted to help the community. Overall I highly doubt I'll ever go back
